i'm gonna make damn sure

Makedamnsure is the AU I developed with my friend Kitsy. The works that are part of it are in this series.

Timeline

• Kendall becomes CEO of Waystar Royco
• Feeling lost, Roman begins baiting Kendall into hurting him; Kendall initially resists, but eventually takes the bait. It's their new Dog Pound. Roman's mental health declines, and Kendall steps in as his de facto caretaker. They become codependent. (makedamnsure)
• Kendall gets no-confidenced and loses his position as CEO. They live in New York and become recluse, then travel for a while before moving to a bunker in Iceland. (makedamnsure)
• While in Iceland, the local population begins speculating about Kendall, especially when he shows up in Reykjavík, but they don't think much of him overall. (an echo, a stain)
• Kendall takes Roman camping in the north-eastern side of the island over the summer.
• During their stay in Iceland, Roman's health worsens, both on the mental side (more severe dissociation) and on the physical side (malnourishment, lack of exercise, lack of sunlight).
• Roman tries escaping in the night. Kendall finds him and takes him home. (a canvas as white as the moon) A driver spots Roman in the distance and mistakes him for a ghost. (an echo, a stain)
• Kendall has an unspecified accident. Roman runs out to seek help and is found by Steinunn Gísladóttir. She offers him help, but he runs back to the bunker after stealing some medication. She reports the events to the police, but minimizes the urgency of the situation. (an echo, a stain)
• Roman and Kendall's bodies are found. Shiv flies over to identify them and buys a property near the bunker. (an echo, a stain)
• Shiv has a daughter, Sloan. She raises Sloan so that she knows who her uncles are, but shelters her from the tragedy that occurred.
